2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Concept Redesign For 2018

A new Santa Fe is coming. The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is going to come with lots of improvements in its design, performance, and features. If you are interested in the new Santa Fe Sport, just read on. We will tell you what we know so far about it.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Redesign Exterior

It appears we are going to see 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport redesign both for exterior and interior. It will have six points of light, which pretty much define Santa Fe’s styling. There will be two thin strips of lights at its hood level and four headlights which are stacked down at the place where you expect the foglights all of which are LED.

There will be also a six-sided grille with additional openings at the bumper’s lower edge. At its back, we can see the Santa Fe Sport sporting the current SUV’s style. Just like many of today’s SUVs, it has horizontal taillights as well as lower bumper cladding.

Interior Changes

Now, about the interior redesign. On one hand, the new Santa Fe Sport continues a few themes that its predecessors have. On the other hand, it comes with some updates. For instance, it comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display and several shortcut buttons above the twin air vents and seat and climate controls below. There will be more legroom and elbowroom thanks to its redesigned doors as well. While these are good updates, some people do complain about its over-the-shoulder visibility.

Performance & Driving Line

There are three engine options available for the Santa Fe Sport. The first is a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine capable of generating up to 185 horsepower. The second is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of generating u to 232 horsepower. And lastly, a 2.2-liter, turbo-diesel engine which is said to have a power output of 200 horsepower. This diesel engine is still a rumor, though. Hyundai neither confirm nor deny the engine option for the new Santa Fe Sport.

All of those engines are going to be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. All of Santa Fe Sport is going to be available in a front- and an all-wheel-drive system. There will be Sport mode included, which transfers more power to its rear wheels in order to improve cornering.

Features

Hyundai has a set of safety technology known as Hyundai Smart Sense. These useful features will be standard equipment for SE trim levels and above. The features included in Hyundai Smart Sense are adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, blind spot warning, drowsy-driver warning, forward collision warning, and a safe-exit feature (which locks the doors temporarily when the car detects incoming vehicles).

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Price & Availability

As of now, Hyundai has yet to release the exact New Hyundai Santa Fe Sports release date. While we don’t know the exact date of release, the 2020 Santa Fe Sport is scheduled to enter the market in summer this year.

The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport will get a Facelift, engines updates, and lots of useful safety features, especially for the upper trims. With these improvements, we expect the new Santa Fe Sport to offer better driving experience than its predecessor.
