A family SUV needs to be reliable and comfortable at all times. There are many SUVs on the market but not many can be as reliable and comfortable as Ford Everest. The 2019 Ford Everest is a good example of a family SUV. Soon, we will see its successor, the New Ford Everest.
2020 Ford Everest Redesign
In terms of redesign, it is highly unlikely we will see it for the 2020 model. Why? The reason is that the Everest lineup has just got a facelift back in 2018. Usually, a lineup gets its refresh once in a few years. Since a facelift is unlikely, we expect the 2020 Everest to be a carryover model and continue what the 2019 model has.
The exterior and interior of the 2020 Everest will be mostly the same as the 2019 Everest. Despite being a family SUV, the 2020 Everest should look stylish and slick. The interior should be roomy and comfortable, just like the previous Everest models.
We expect the 2020 model to come equipped with a 2.0-liter, twin-turbo four-cylinder engine as the standard. This engine should have an output of up to 210 hp with 368 lb-ft of torque. Of course, similar to the current model, this engine isn’t going to be the only option.
If the upcoming model is to carry over what the current model has, there should be other engines as well. The engine that Ford retained for the current model, a 3.2-liter five-cylinder engine with an output of 191 hp with 346 lb-ft of torque should be available. Another possible option is a 2.0-liter, turbo mill engine, the same engine that is available for Ford Raptor.
As a family SUV, the Everest lineup often comes with various features as the standard. The upcoming Everest should come with features such as keyless entry, an 8-inch touchscreen display, push-button start, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, SYNC 3 infotainment system, and Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay compatibility as the standard.
2020 Ford Everest Release Date and Price
There is no confirmation yet regarding the release date of the 2020 Ford Everest. While official detail has yet to be announced, we can expect it to enter the market somewhere in late 2019 or early 2020 at the latest. If it is designed to be a 2020 model, we can safely say that it will arrive before 2020 or in early 2020.
As for the price, it should have more or less the same price as the current Ford Everest. That is, assuming there are no major changes for the 2020 model. The current Ford Everest’s price range is between $50,000 and $70,000. The price of the 2020 Everest shouldn’t be too different.
Although the 2020 Ford Everest is still largely unknown, we expect it to be mostly the same as the current Ford Everest. After all, the lineup has just got a facelift in 2018. Because of that, there won’t be any facelift for a few years.
While a facelift is unlikely, there should be any tweaks here and there for the 2020 model. The changes should be there but they won’t change the SUV significantly.
