2020 Cadillac Escalade Platinum ESV Price & Features

The Cadillac line has been around for two decades. Currently, the line has produced four generations. The fifth-generation, the 2020 Cadillac Escalade, will soon be released. If you are a fan of Cadillac, here we have something interesting for you. We will tell you about the soon-to-be-released Cadillac’s design, engine, equipment, release date, and price.

2020 Cadillac Escalade Redesign

Let’s start with the design. For its exterior look, the next-generation Cadillac Escalade ESV will likely to have a similar look to its predecessor. This means that it will have an attractive yet bold look. Its front part will have well-designed headlamps with large chrome grille.

For the interior, it will be a spacious one. With its three rows of seating with standard leather upholstery, the new Cadillac will be able to comfortably accommodate up to 8 passengers. The second and third row can also be folded, freeing more space if needed. The dashboard will have an 8-inch display with the latest CUE infotainment system.

Engine Specs & Fuel Economy

What about the engine? The new Cadillac should come with the same engine as its predecessor, which is to say it will have a 6.2-liter, V-8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission gearbox for its base model. This engine is capable of generating up to 420 horsepower with 460 lbs-ft torque. It will also available with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations. In terms of fuel efficiency, the rear-wheel-drive model will have 14/23 mpg, while the all-wheel-drive model will have 14/21 mpg.

There is also a rumor that the upcoming Cadillac will also be available with another engine option. Supposedly, a 4.0-liter, V-8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission gearbox with both all-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations will be available. Unfortunately, there is no further information about the performance of this engine.
